Extended across 110 acres of land on the lush green banks of the Periyar river, the Binani Zinc Plant is located at Binanipuram, in the Ernakulam District in Kerala. In proximity to the Cochin port, the location serves as an ideal vantage point for ease in transportation, abundant water supply and also enjoys the advantages of highly skilled and educated workforce. This plant has also developed the unique capacity to treat concentrates of varying compositions, giving the Company a definitive edge over the competition. In order to further raise efficiency, the Company has streamlined and de-bottlenecked systems and processes.

Production Capacity

The Zinc Smelter at Binanipuram current has a capacity of 38,000 TPA, but the Company's vision is to expand the capacity to 100,000 TPA.
