The Binani Cement Factory LLC, established in 1996 in Dubai, is strategically located at the Jebel Ali Industrial Area, close to the Ports and in the construction hub of the area. BCFLLC has exhibited steady growth in the manufacturing / grinding of slag and clinker to produce high quality Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) and Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBFS) for the UAE market. In 2006, on the back of growing demand, the capacity of the plant was increased from 0.5 Million Tonnes to 1 Million Tonnes of OPC and GGBFS, and in 2007 clinker grinding capacity was increased to 1.2 Million Tonnes per Annum.

Binani, Shanghai
The Braj Binani Group has acquired a 70% stake with management control of an operational, 2 year old clinker plant (with grinding capacity under construction) in the Shandong Province of North China, in close proximity of two ports. The Chinese partner holds 30% stake of the plant, which has a current production capacity of 400,000 tonnes of clinker and will grind 300,000 tonnes of cement annually. The clinker capacity will be upgraded to 500,000 tonnes by the end of 2007. It is currently running at 100% capacity and exports its products to the UAE. It will also sell a small quantity of cement domestically.
